Disneyland Trip Part Two: Gracie

So, I feel like a big slacker on reporting about my trip to Disneyland. I have been so wrapped up in scrapbooking the trip that I haven't shared many memories here. So for all of you who are wondering what happened on our trip, she Jaqui's blog! I know when I am done with the scrapbook, she will be replacing my pictures with some of her own and printing it for herself, so just replace her family names for my family and you have our trip report. ;)

Favorite memory: Playing with Noah! She loves this boy! They had the best time playing with him especially at the beach.

Disneyland Trip Day One: The Massive Road Trip

We began our trip to Disneyland with a very long car drive. We were lucky to ride together in a 15 passenger van with the McDougals. This saved a ton of money on gas and helped to entertain the kids because they were with cousins. But the best perk of all was that Jaqui sat closer to the kids and thus dealt with the problems! Yay for me!

I was a little worried about all the stops we were going to make on the way to Primm. I teased Randy about the long historical road trip we were taking to get to our real destination. But it actually turned out great. We stopped about every 2 1/2 hours which worked out well for the kids. The girls had a really great time visiting Cove Fort, the St. George Temple and Brigham Young's winter home. They were so well behaved. The sister missionary who led our tour at Brigham Young's home said they were the most well behaved group of girls she has ever met. And that she wished she was their grandmother. I was so proud of them.

Nicole seemed to break out of her little shy shell. She talked to every missionary we saw. Telling them about our trip to Disneyland. I was also impressed with how much our kids remember from our recent FHE. At the Temple they remembered so many things that we taught them about Temples earlier this year. They also remember information about some of the prophets as they came up in our tours. I am glad that we are doing some good.
